Three Things Thursday

Three Things Thursday – The Final Edition

Hello and Happy Thursday/Almost Friday everyone! Today is the last day of the Three Things Thursday link up hosted by Salma at The Write Balance, Raj at Pink Chai Living and Nisha at Love Laugh Mirch. To find out why this fun round up is coming to an end just check out any of their posts. In the spirit of looking forward this TTT is going to be all about things that I am excited about! When it is sunny and warm outside the world just seems full of possibilities and on that optimistic note here we go…

Thing One: The Halal Food Festival Toronto

I am pretty sure this isn’t the first time I have mentioned this, but going to the HFFT is like going to foodie heaven. The burgers, the ribs, the …well, the everything is just too much fun to be missed out on! It has been where we have made some of our most delicious discoveries and I can’t wait to see what new fare comes our way this year. For those of you with little ones they have a kids area as well with some fun inflatables, face painting etc so come by the International Center in Mississauga on May 21 & May 22 and check it out!

Thing Two: Fireworks at the Falls

Last year in the summer my 5 year old asked to go to Niagara Falls to see the fireworks. Mama kinda dropped the ball on that one *guiltily looking away* but this year we will indulge her and stay overnight in Niagara tourist style so that she can catch the 10PM firework show.

Thing Three: Cookie Decorating Classes

Ninja Sugar Cookies

I’ve had fun over the last two years decorating sugar cookies mostly for friends’ kids’ birthdays, but every time I do it I kick myself for never having taken classes. Usually by the time the thought occurs to me it is a little too late, this time I have decided to be more organized and have registered for a cookie decorating class in July. It seems far off now, but the way this year has gone I suspect July will be here in no time!

That’s all from me – hope you all have some shiny happy things that you’re looking forward to as well! Would love to hear what they are!

So glad you could join in the final 3 Things Thursday Sarah! I believe that’s what brought us together! Wish I could come to the halal food cart fest, it sounds delicious. And those ninja cookies are awesome. My kids would love a couple in case you want to send some over 😉

I don’t know why but I couldn’t see posts from you in my feed and had to hop on to your website. This is making me upset, I so look forward to all your posts.
Going to Niagara falls is one of my fav memories, If i had known they do fireworks I probably would have forced my daughter to take me then. Unfortunately we weren’t able to hop on to the Candaian side which i have heard has a much better view then the american side.
And nooo way, you never took classes and you are this ninja good?! Woah! impressed!!!!!

The halal food festival sounds so good. I will let my cousin who stays in Toronto know about it. Cookie decorating class sounds fun. You will love it! I did my cake decorating class from Toronto and had a blast when I was there. Toronto has some seriously talented cake and cookie artists.
