Karachi Style Pink Tea

richly flavoured, authentic Pakistani version

Combine the ingredients for the kahwa (pink tea base) in a pot and bring to a boil

Simmer to reduce by half (about an hour) and then strain

Shock the kahwa with ice cold water and aerate well 

Add milk and heat through
